Our Story
A Vision was Born - 2013
With many Webelos Scouts preparing for Boy Scouts, our families noticed a gap where Faith and Adventure could meet and to provide the type of program that can help aid in turning our young boys of today into faithful leaders of tomorrow. To close this gap, 8 parents started Boy Scout Troop 633. Our Aggressive outdoor program offers something for every level of adventure.
Our Vision Expanded - 2014
With many young siblings watching their older brothers explore the woods and acquire new skills at their meetings every week which was in addition to growing popular demand, in September 2014 our Cub Scout Pack 633 Was Born! Two programs featured on the same night to help families with children in both programs!
Our Vision Comes Full Circle - 2019
With such a vast array of adventure camps as well as rank and merit badge workshops available to our BSA programs, plus the ability to enhance our vision of keeping the family together the announcement of Scouts BSA was a no brainer! For our girls between the ages 5-10, nothing changes with the exception of more adventure and advancement opportunities. For our girls 11-17, a new Girls only Troop 1633 which operates independently from our Boys program formed in 2019, and features an aggressive outdoor adventure program and provides a path to Eagle scout.
